I've just added 4 new blog entries to Planet Roguelike by checking the DMOZ Open Directory Project:

Dragon AgeDragon Age origins is the next creation of Bioware, the famous studio that developed the Baldur's Gate success. The official website has just openned, and what appeared for many years only as a vaporware video game is now taking form nicely.

Two official trailers have already been published some days ago. Yet epic and breath taking -in a very Steve Jacksonish way-, I must confess they did not impressed me a lot. When I was hoping for fantasy, magic and deep misteries, they provided massive fights, dark light and bump mapping all over the place.

But hope is not lost! For some new gameplay screenshots have been published, and Dragon Age seems to be the true Baldur's Gate heir. Here there are:

Dragon Age is supposed to be release before april 2009. More about the game here and there:
